Subject: Child's Play
The author considers fretwork and woodcarving to be suitable pastimes for older children, but also for adults. They expected children to be more alert and responsible than most of them today!

This is designed for learning with a few simple hand tools.

Patterns include corner brackets, wall brackets, an OMG intricate-looking table easel, book rack ends, flowered picture frame, and a wall pocket, that Victorian convenient drop-off for this and that.
